Prom is open to juniors and seniors. It will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2026 from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm at The Vail, 210 N. Mosley. No entry after 9:00 pm.
Tickets
Tickets will be sold at school during all lunches for two weeks before the event for $30 per individual or $50 per couple. Tickets must be purchased in advance; they will NOT be sold at the door.
Dress Code
Dress code expected is formal wear: boys in tuxedos and girls in modest formal dresses. Out-of-school dates are also expected to follow the dress code. Click HERE for dress guidelines. If you have questions regarding the dress code, please contact a KMC administrator or Mrs. Ferraro.
Parking
Parking for The Vail is in the parking garage just north of the Hotel at Old Town, as well as in the parking lot just north of The Vail. See map below. Students should not leave any valuables in their cars during the dance.
Out-of-School Date Forms
Juniors or seniors planning to bring prom dates that do not attend KMC need to have an out-of-school date form filled out and returned to the school. This also applies to attendance at Project Prom. Students may pick up a form in the school office beginning April 7.
The form requires signatures of the KMC parent, guest's parent, and an administrator from both schools. Forms must be turned in by the deadline for approval by KMC administration. The form is due back to the school office by 3:30 pm on Monday, April 20.
Project Prom
Project Prom is Saturday, April 25, 11:00 pm-1:00 am, at Lucky Strike (formerly Bowlero Wichita), 11413 E. 13th St. N. No entry after 12:00 am.
