WSU Tech partners with KMC to provide education in several programs.  These programs are available to all juniors and seniors. 

Each program offers free or reduced tuition!

Program enrollment occurs the semester prior to classes. Please review the timeline below and discuss with your counselor. 

December to Mid-March

• Pre-enrollment Begins.

• Meet with your KMC counselor to review WSU Tech requirements and your progress to your KMC diploma.

• Apply to WSU Tech at this link: apply by clicking here

  • This application is free and only needs to be completed once.

• Submit the WSU Tech JumpStart form to your counselor. 

February

• Fall Block schedules (courses) with basic descriptions will be emailed to high schools and posted on this website.

March

• Enrollment submissions begin on the first Monday of March.

• You will work with WSU Tech advisors to choose your classes. It is important to be punctual, as many programs fill quickly.

• To help you with any questions, please schedule a meeting with a WSU Tech High School Admissions Specialist by calling 316-677-9400 or the other numbers on the JumpStart Form. 

April

• Enrollment finalized.

May

• Mandatory meetings for KMC students enrolled with WSU Tech at KMC.

• Includes information such as estimated book costs and program expectations.

July 15

• Final book costs released and students contacted about information.

September

• Spring Block schedules (courses) with basic descriptions will be emailed to high schools and posted on this website.

October

• Enrollment submission begins.

• Enrollment for returning students occurs during WSU Tech classes.

November

• Enrollment finalized.

December

• Mandatory meetings for KMC students enrolled with WSU Tech at KMC.
