Dear Friends in Christ,

Legacy. Community. Catholic Identity.

These three words uniquely describe Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School. We are blessed with a legacy of excellence, sustained by an extraordinary community of supporters, and rooted unwaveringly in our Catholic mission. Together, these qualities and so many others make Kapaun Mt. Carmel the exceptional school it was always intended to be.

As we reflect on the past year, our hearts are filled with profound gratitude. The 2025 calendar year has been a remarkable season of blessings for our school spiritually, academically, and athletically. Each success speaks not to any single individual, but to the shared commitment of parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends who continually lift us up through prayer, support, and generosity. Above all, we recognize that every good gift comes from the loving hand of Our Lord.

Pope Leo XIV reminds us that “Christian education is a choral work: no one educates alone.” You share in this work with us. Through your prayers, your presence, your gifts of time and talent, and your financial generosity, you help form our students in faith, virtue, and excellence. For this partnership, we are sincerely grateful.

This year has been historic for our community. Our student-athletes earned seven State Championships, including boys cross country’s first title since 1981 and football’s first since 1987, as well as championships in girls cross country, boys track and field, girls wrestling, boys basketball, and girls golf. These victories reflect not only discipline and teamwork, but also the character and perseverance shaped within our halls.

Even more important are the spiritual milestones at the heart of our mission. Six students and one teacher entered fully into the Catholic Church this year, witnessing with courage and joy to God’s grace. Our transformative Kairos retreats continue to deepen discipleship, helping students encounter Christ in profound ways. The new Chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel has become a vibrant center of daily prayer and sacramental life. Our faculty and staff serve as faithful witnesses, forming young people not just for success, but for sanctity.

LEGACY. COMMUNITY. CATHOLIC IDENTITY.

We sometimes hear it said that the “glory days” of Kapaun Mt. Carmel are behind us. Nothing could be further from the truth. Today’s students are living extraordinary “glory days” of their own—thriving in academics, earning admission to top universities, finding their place in twenty-one clubs and activities, and receiving individualized support that allows every student to flourish. In every way, the education and formation of the total person in the image of Jesus Christ is as strong today as at any moment in our school’s history.

At KMC, we are not striving to build donors; we are striving to build disciples. Every prayer offered, every hour volunteered, every gift shared strengthens the chorus of faith and formation entrusted to us.

This is why we ask you to support The Crusader Fund, the backbone of our mission. It directly supports academic programs, retreats, campus ministry, activities, athletics, tuition assistance, and the day-to-day operations that keep KMC strong. Our goal for this academic year is $560,000, and every tax-deductible gift ensures that our students continue to grow as leaders rooted in Christ.

“God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). May our generosity be a joyful response to God’s abundant goodness.

Thank you for all you make possible. It is an honor to share in the Kapaun Mt. Carmel legacy with you. With grateful hearts, we look forward to the year ahead and all that God will accomplish through us.
