Congratulations to the wrestling team for placing 11th at regionals.  Individual finishes were: Damon Steiner – second, Bubba Wright – second, Charlie Frisch – eighth, Ayden Jimenez – eighth, Brogan Klein – seventh, Brecken Phipps – seventh, and Joe Walter – seventh.  They all qualified for state this weekend at Hartman Arena.

Congratulations to the boys JV bowling team for finishgin third at the city league tournament on Friday.  Top 15 finishes included varsity girls: Ginna Holzman – eighth and Chloe Ciecko – 12th; JV girls: Lauren Englert and Maddie Phillips; and JV boys Ryan Cosgrove and Dylan Lesser. 


Support the KMC Walk in Sister’s Shoes campaign now until March 1!  Bring dollars for your house bucket in the round.  Are you hungry after school?  Buy pizza for $2 per slice in the concession stand after school every day.  Our goal, to beat last year’s total, is $11,000.  Please help us meet our goal to benefit the Katherine Drexel Fund for schools in need!

Butler Community College will be here today during all lunches to visit with any interested juniors and seniors.

There is a meeting for boys tennis today at 3:05 in the Crusader Lounge.  All boys interested in playing should attend.

There is a meeting for girls swim and dive today after school in the Senior Lounge.  All girls interested in participating should attend.

There will be a Science Olympiad meeting today at 3:10 in room 224 to get information about regionals at Andover Central. 

Attention juniors, sophomores, and freshman: online enrollment opens on February 20 in Powerschool.  Students must enroll in their classes for next year through Powerschool by February 28.  If students do not enroll, their class choices are not guaranteed and they will be assessed a $25 fee.  If you need your Powerschool password, please see Mrs. Lutz.  If you need other help, see your counselor.

There will be a meeting for all girls planning to try out for soccer tomorrow morning at 7:15 am in room G-4.  If you are unable to attend, you must contact Coach Cantele by Thursday, February 21.

Ecology Club will recycle tomorrow due to PTC on Thursday of next week.

All varsity wrestlers need to be in the wrestling room tomorrow after school for league championship pictures.  Be sure to bring your singlet.

There is an informational meeting for the trap shooting club tomorrow at 7:00 pm in the library.  Any students interested should attend.  Information can also be picked up from Mr. Roberts.

The track sign-up and organizational meeting for all students interested in track has been postponed to this Thursday at 3:15.  The meeting will be in the gym lobby.  Please be on time.  The meeting will last long enough to sign-in, get your paperwork and have a short 20 minute meeting. If you have conflicts or questions, please see Mr. Estes in room 226 or Mr. Vancuren in weight room.

Attention all baseball players: there is a baseball meeting on Thursday at 3:07 in Coach Burr’s room, 211.  Players currently involved in a winter sport are excused.  See Coach Burr with any questions.

Any student planning to participate in a spring sport, who has not been involved in athletics this school year, is required to turn in a KSHSAA Concussion & Head Injury Release Form, a KSHSAA Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation Form and a Parental Consent Form.  The forms can be downloaded from the KMC athletics website.  All forms must be turned in to the athletic office before February 25, the first day of spring sports practice – you have one more week!
