The 2017-18 school year marks the 130th year of our school. All Hallows Academy opened in 1887 and has been in existence constantly since that date. At the turn of the century, the name was changed to Mount Carmel Academy and then later combined with Chaplain Kapaun Memorial to become our present day Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School.
This legacy needs to be celebrated, and celebrate we will. We plan celebrations for every month of the next year, beginning with a birthday party in September, marking the 130th anniversary of the opening of our school. Other celebrations are in the planning stages, and a culminating Gala celebration is planned for May 2018. We hope to engage as many of our great alumni, families and friends in this exciting year as possible. Hopefully there will be a celebratory event for you among the many that we are planning.
We look forward to seeing and meeting many of you during the next year. May God bless you and may He continue to endow our school with His abundant blessings. Let’s all celebrate our 130th year with the energy and enthusiasm that the Mount Carmel, Chaplain Kapaun Memorial and Kapaun Mt. Carmel community richly deserves.
