The KMC Annual Fund is a part of the operating budget of the school each year. It is one of the three components of the incoming revenues of the school. As we are part of a United Catholic Stewardship community, the bulk of the financing for the operation of KMC comes from the parishes to which our students belong. This past year 74% of those revenues were support by our parishes for the students in our school. In addition, another 21% of the revenues came from fees paid at registration (parking, yearbook, technology, etc.) as well as from sources such as gate receipts at athletic events, concerts and plays in the KMC Auditorium. The final 5% comes from the Annual Fund.

There are seven constituent groups that participate in the Annual Fund. They are:
- current parents
- current grandparents
- alumni
- parents of alumni
- faculty and staff of KMC
- students of KMC
- friends of the school (those people who have an attachment to KMC and interest in the school but who do not belong to any of the other constituent groups)
2006-07 Results:
Last year was a good year for the KMC Annual Fund. A total of $294,000 was raised from all constituent groups, a new record and very nearly the goal. The participation from our current parents at 52%+ was excellent, albeit short of the all time record set the previous year. as was the total raised. Our faculty and staff continue to support the Annual Fund in a big way for which we are grateful.
This year's goal is $300,000. While it is an aggressive target, we know it can be reached. If you have not already made a pledge or a gift to the Annual Fund, please give it consideration. Every gift, no matter the size, is important! A pledge form can be printed by clicking HERE. Pledges are not due in full until June 30, 2008, the end of our fiscal year. A special note to Parents of KMC Students:
We have an eager team of volunteers who will be contacting you by phone over the next several weeks in order to follow up on the letter you received from Mark and Sandy Stump and the accompanying information. I know you will treat your fellow parents with kindness as they move you through the Annual Fund process. Please be generous when they call. Remember you are doing this for your children!
